evercircle salon trial 2026

We're inviting 50 stylists to test what comes next.

An eight-week independent product trial designed with cosmetic-chemist oversight, third-party lab testing, and one outcome in mind — to measure what an Australian eco-positioned haircare brand can really do.

Why we're doing this

An eco brand should be measured by what works — not just what it stands for.

Sustainable haircare in Australia is full of intention and short on evidence. Brands speak the language of ocean protection, plastic reduction and natural formulation, but rarely commission the kind of rigorous, third-party testing that the broader beauty industry takes for granted.

We want to be the brand that brings the receipts.

That's why we're running this trial. Eight weeks of real, supervised use across fifty Australian salons, with measurements that go beyond “I felt like my hair was softer.” Independent oversight. Lab-verified data. The honest, unflattering truth where it surfaces — and credible, defensible claims where the formulas earn them.

If you've ever wished a brand would stop telling you their product works and start showing you, this is that.

What's involved

Three short check-ins across eight weeks.

Each takes ten to fifteen minutes. You can test on yourself or a willing client.

i.
Week 0 · Baseline
Tue 26 May

A short questionnaire, standardised baseline photos, and an optional small hair sample for our lab-tested sub-group.

ii.
Week 4 · Mid-point
Tue 23 June

A quick check-in to capture how the formulas are tracking. Same questionnaire, second set of photos, ten minutes.

iii.
Week 8 · Final
Tue 21 July

Final assessment, photos, and a short reflection. Lab samples returned. Honorarium paid on completion.

What you receive

A genuine partnership — not a product seeding.

i.

The full new range

Refined formulas with our new ocean-protection actives, 80g bars and updated packaging. Yours to keep, valued at $80+.

ii.

$100 honorarium

Paid on completion of all three check-ins. A genuine acknowledgement of your time and professional input.

iii.

Trade access

Trial completion unlocks our wholesale account for your salon — wholesale pricing, reorder priority, marketing collateral.

iv.

First seat at the table

Trial participants are first considered for our 2026–27 ambassador and stockist programmes. The trial is the door.

The methodology

Three layers of measurement.

We're not running a brand survey. The trial is designed in three layers — subjective, photographic, and lab-verified — so that every claim we go on to make can be traced back to evidence. Designed in consultation with an independent cosmetic chemist.

Layer i.

Subjective assessment

A standardised questionnaire scoring shine, softness, manageability, breakage perception, scalp condition, frizz, and colour vibrancy across all three check-ins.

Layer ii.

Photographic record

Standardised baseline and final photographs under the same lighting and angle conditions — for editorial documentation and visual comparison.

Layer iii.

Lab-verified data

Hair samples from a sub-group of fifteen participants tested independently by an accredited Australian laboratory for tensile strength and cuticle integrity.

The trial protocol has been designed and signed off by an independent cosmetic chemist with accreditation through the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Their oversight is what allows us to publish results with integrity — and it's why we say independently assessed, not independently endorsed.

Questions

Things you might be wondering.

How much time will it actually take?

Outside of using the products as part of your normal routine, the structured time commitment is roughly 30–45 minutes total across the eight weeks — split across three short check-ins.

Can I test on a willing client instead of myself?

Yes. Twenty of our fifty places are reserved for stylist-on-client testing. Your client will need to provide simple written consent (template provided) and complete the same questionnaire at each check-in, with you supporting.

What if I miss a check-in?

Life happens. We allow a 72-hour window either side of each check-in date. If you miss the window, your data is still valuable — we just can't include it in the headline statistics.

Can I keep using my own products alongside the trial range?

For the test subject (yourself or your client), we ask that the evercircle range replaces the equivalent products in their routine for the eight weeks — otherwise the data isn't usable. Stylist tools, treatments, and salon services are unaffected.

What's the lab sub-group, and is it required?

Fifteen of the fifty participants will optionally provide a small hair sample (about 30 strands) at baseline and again at week eight. Samples go to an accredited Australian laboratory for tensile strength and cuticle integrity testing. It's entirely optional — and not part of your trial completion requirements.

When and how is the honorarium paid?

$100 AUD is paid via direct bank transfer within 14 days of completing your week-eight check-in. We collect bank details in a secure follow-up email after the trial closes.

Will my name and salon be used in the published results?

Aggregate data is published anonymously by default. We may approach individual participants whose results we'd love to share by name (with photos or a quote) — but only with your explicit written permission, and you can decline at any point.

When will applications close, and when will I hear back?

Applications close Sunday 17 May. You'll hear back by Wednesday 21 May with either an offer of a place or a respectful note. Onboarding kits go out Thursday 22 May ready for the Tuesday 26 May baseline.
